Taecyeon says goodbye to his green card

AllKpop reports that 2PM member Taecyeon is giving up his US permanent resident status and will enlist in the Korean army.

Oh wow, this is a big deal for me. It takes FOREVER to get a green card, and he’s just giving it up? I understand that there may be pressure on him. I know there was a Kpop star who held on to his green card and as a result his career went spiraling down real fast. It was the kiss of death to NOT enlist in the army.

I just hope he’s making the right decision and would maintain a successful career for many years to come . Lots of kpop groups fizzle out after some time so it’s important that he remain relevant in the industry. Otherwise, he’s off to the military + he lost the ever precious green card. Ouch!

I guess he can always apply for a tourist visa to be able to visit his family in the US. I wonder why Korea doesn’t allow dual citizenship?

2PM on Happy Together

I just love watching Korean variety shows and Happy together is among my faves. So when my favorite boy group comes guesting on one of my favorite variety shows, I’m a fan girl of mush.

This episode was hilarious as always (I’ve been waiting for the complete subs since forever!), but it was even more fascinating because we get to see a side of Junsu’s personality that we haven’t seen before. I didn’t know he was a natural comedian! I just wish my Korean was better so I could understand/distinguish the accents they’ve been talking about. I don’t hear anything THAT different from a Busan accent and a Daegu accent. The Daegu seems more tough/angry but it’s not that significant to me. lol! Maybe it’s a cultural thing I will never understand.

Oh my, you guys are awesome but I cannot forgive 2PM’s stylist for this! Seriously dudes, what’s up with the glittery eyeshadow?  When I first saw this style for their new video, I thought it was just annoying, but now I’ve come to really hate it! It started with the eyeliner trend, and now even eyeshadow? I can’t take it anymore, it looks so gay to me! Sheesh!

Anyway, good thing Jeonggam’s in the pic to distract me. I think he has a really nice face! So adorable! He looks like a cat with a nice personality. Here is Jeonggam sleeping (from chansung’s twitter):

In the video, Taec looked scared of her.lol! I think Khunnie and Chansung handled the situation the best. The others just laughed it off and acted like it didn’t concern them much. Then just wanted to get it over with! LOL!
